Showers continue over western counties. Here’s a look ahead.
Scattered showers packing moderate to heavy rain at times continue over western Marion and Sumter counties tonight while the rest of central Florida is dry.
The rain will continue, but looks to clear out before 11 p.m.
Overnight lows are expected in the mid-to-upper 60s to low 70s under partly cloudy skies.
We kick off the work week with a few showers here and there and highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. By midweek rain chances are down, but the heat cranks up to the mid-to-upper 90s. We will watch for potentially record breaking heat later in the work week.
